Davie, FL (Sports Network) - Miami Dolphins linebacker Zach Thomas missed his second straight practice Thursday and was sent to a neurologist to undergo tests for a possible concussion.
Thomas will be reevaluated on Friday and head coach Cam Cameron will determine whether or not the seven-time Pro Bowl selection will play Sunday against the Jets.
Thomas didn't miss a snap in last week's 37-20 loss to Dallas, finishing the game with 10 tackles. According to a report on Miami's web site, Channing Crowder would start at middle linebacker and Derrick Pope would move into Crowder's outside linebacker position if Thomas can't play on Sunday.
